Keep the fire within you burning bright,

Stay stronger than the things that you must fight,

Avoid the so called friends who break your trust,

Watch how soft water turns tough steel to rust,

Never be ashamed of any genuine tears you cry,

Make the most of life before it passes you by”

Throughout my life, I have always felt better knowing i was in control of most things, for example what happens in my life. It’s always been my little safe zone and it’s always made me comfortable. So I admit, stepping out of that zone frightens me, because I’m no longer in control. What makes me even more embarrassed is the cliche shit that goes through my mind: Is this text okay? Am I being too weird? But of course nothing gets to me than the fact that you wonder when is the going to be next time you’ll see them although you just hung out with them!! Ridiculous. But regardless, it’s always nice having someone to talk to that can make your day with a simple text, that can make you laugh with a simple statement that is SO inappropriate. Obviously, I can’t tell the future or shall I be able to, but just as a little boy wishes with such hope upon a shooting star, do I hope for this. Life has not really been my friend these past years, but I’m willing to beat the shit out of it to take this.
